The local authorities of the city of Jarsive have announced their decision to temporarily close the cattle market, known as “spacious sheep”, from Tuesday, Tuesday, in a decision that comes in response to the royal instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, that God helped him, which requires the suspension of sacrifices of sacrifices during the Eid Al -Adha for this year.
This procedure comes in the light of the difficult situation in the livestock sector in Morocco, due to the succession of dryness and lack of rain, which led to the scarcity of food resources and high prices, which negatively affected the national herd, in particular sheep and goats.
According to this decision, the sale of sheep inside the market will be fully prohibited during the remaining period before Eid, and surveillance will be intensified to prevent any attempt from selling sacrifices in unlimited places such as alleys or stables, while emphasizing the activation of legal sanctions against offenders.
This decision reflects an advanced awareness of the need to preserve and ensure national cattle, in particular in the light of the climatic and economic challenges faced by farmers and farming breeders.
The authorities will continue to continue to monitor the implementation of the decision on the ground strictly, until the conditions are improving and the market reopens later after exceeding the current crisis.
