HIBAPRESS – Fez
A number of residents of the city of Fez presented a striking humanitarian scene in the vicinity of the tragedy in the Al-Massira district, where they initiated the distribution of meals and drinks to security personnel, civil protection, and residents affected by the collapse of the two buildings, in an initiative that reflected the spirit of solidarity that marked the tragic hours that followed the accident.
These spontaneous initiatives came at a time when sadness still overshadows the residents of the neighborhood after the tragedy that left a large number of victims, while the authorities continue their field efforts for intervention and rescue.
Many of the residents were keen to be present near the collapse site to provide moral support and possible assistance, in a humanitarian image that confirms the strength of social ties in moments of hardship.
