In the midst of this captivating winter scene, the city received special visits from members of the royal family this week, which gave the city additional radiance and created a clear tourist dynamic. Princess Lalla Salma and Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Khadija visited Ifrane on Monday, December 8th, in a visit that coincided with the wave of snow that covered the cedar forests and surrounding heights, giving "Switzerland of Morocco" a real postcard image that attracted hundreds of visitors and vacationers. Continuing this remarkable royal presence, Crown Prince Moulay Hassan visited the city of Ifrane today, Thursday, December 11th, in a special visit that received wide attention from the population and visitors. In this context, the security services appeared deployed on various road axes and in the city center, within precise arrangements aimed at securing the visit and ensuring the smooth flow of traffic within the region. The governor of the province, along with the local authorities, also conducts routine and continuous tours through various vital points in the city, in order to follow the course of the royal visit and to directly monitor the smooth running of the field arrangements. Hotels and tourist resorts in the region have witnessed a noticeable boom in recent days, benefiting from the increasing demand from snow and winter sports enthusiasts, in addition to the positive role of the royal presence in stimulating the tourism and economic wheel. Ifrane continues to consolidate its position as a leading mountain destination in Morocco, thanks to the quality of its environment and its harmonious urban systems, in addition to its distinctive natural space, which makes it a preferred destination during the snow season. The city is betting on this winter momentum to enhance its attractiveness and support its economic activity as the end-of-year holiday approaches.
