HIBAPRESS – A. Mahyaoui
From the Hajjert region of Midelt province, where the harshness of nature blends with its captivating beauty, these days, stunning scenes are revealed, with the highlands covered in a white attire that has increased its splendor and charm. However, this natural beauty does not hide the great challenges posed by heavy snowfall, especially on the road network linking the provinces of Midelt and Ifrane.
In this context, the services of the Ministry of Equipment and Transport in the province of Midelt are making today, Saturday, great and continuous efforts to break the isolation of the population and ensure the safety of road users, through the mobilization of advanced mechanisms and field teams working in difficult climatic conditions, and at an accelerated pace, pending the completion of the process of opening roads closed by snow from the jurisdiction of the province of Ifrane, allowing the reopening of the vital road axis between the two provinces.
These interventions come within the framework of the instructions of the governor of Midelt province, Abdelwahab Fadel, who attaches great importance to ensuring the continuity of traffic, securing the movement of citizens, and facilitating the access of essential materials and necessary services to the areas affected by the cold wave.
These efforts have been greatly appreciated by the local population and road users, who praised the rapid intervention and the well-coordinated coordination between the various concerned services, emphasizing the vital role played by these operations in mitigating the effects of the harsh climate fluctuations.
Until the completion of the road opening process completely, the teams of the Ministry of Equipment and Transport remain in a state of constant alert, in a scene that reflects the spirit of responsibility and dedication to serving the public interest, and confirms once again that facing the challenges of nature can only be achieved by joining efforts and serious field work.
