HIBAPRESS – A. Muhyawi
Since his appointment as the head of the Sidi Slimane region, the governor of the region has marked a new stage characterized by seriousness, closeness to the citizen, and tangible field development, after years of marginalization that affected a number of vital sectors in the region.
In a short period of time, the Sidi Slimane prefecture has seen the implementation of a set of development projects, concerning infrastructure, the rehabilitation of urban and rural areas, and the improvement of the quality of basic services, which has been reflected positively on the daily life of the population, and restored hope for a better future for the region. The governor of the region is distinguished by his communicative approach based on a policy of closeness, as he is keen on permanent openness to citizens, as his office remains open to everyone, receiving their complaints, and listening to their concerns and problems, especially vulnerable groups and those with difficult social situations, in an actual embodiment of the concept of citizen and humanitarian administration. This management style has been widely appreciated by the population of the region, who have expressed on more than one occasion their satisfaction with the rapid response and positive interaction with their demands, considering that the current stage represents a real break with previous practices characterized by exclusion and weak communication. Observers of local affairs confirm that the dynamics that the region is experiencing today reflect a clear vision of the governor of the region, based on linking responsibility with accountability, following up on open workshops in the field, and working in full coordination with various local actors, from authorities, elected officials, and civil society. Thus, the governor of the Sidi Slimane region continues to lead the wheel of development in the right direction, putting the citizen at the heart of attention, and establishing a new stage based on hard work, listening, and spatial justice, which serves sustainable development and strengthens confidence in institutions.
