HIBAPRESS – Mohamed Daher
HIBAPRESS learned from reliable sources that the investigating judge at the Court of First Instance in Imintanout decided on Friday to remand the head of the Anfifa commune in custody at the local Al-Odaya prison, with Thursday of next week set as the date for the start of detailed investigation sessions.
The arrested president had previously been referred to the Public Prosecution at the Court of First Instance in Imintanout, which decided to extend his custodial detention in order to deepen the investigation by the Royal Gendarmerie elements, to be presented again and heard by one of the deputies of the Attorney General, who submitted a request to the investigating judge in order to conduct an investigation against him regarding the acts attributed to him.
The Royal Gendarmerie elements had previously arrested the head of the Anfifa commune in the province of Chichaoua last Tuesday, on suspicion of involvement in a case related to receiving a financial bribe of 10,000 dirhams, after a citizen submitted a complaint to the Public Prosecution through the green number, stating that he had been asked for a sum of money in exchange for enabling him to obtain a permit to connect to the water and electricity networks.
