The local authorities in the city of Ksar El Kebir began distributing in-kind aid, including a share of basic food items, to citizens who have returned to their homes after the improvement of weather conditions, yesterday evening, Sunday.
This initiative falls within the framework of the local authorities' efforts to implement the integrated plan developed by the prefecture of Larache to facilitate the return of the concerned citizens in successive stages, starting yesterday, with the identification of dedicated means of transportation, safe routes, and a field supervision system, in order to ensure the smooth performance of this process and the safety of citizens. This aid includes 6 liters of milk, 5 liters of oil, 5 kg of sugar, 10 kg of flour, 5 kg of rice, 400 g of tea, and 400 g of salt, which will be distributed gradually as the number of returning citizens increases. This operation aims to provide the appropriate conditions to support citizens in restoring the pace of their normal lives, especially since the number of open shops and service outlets is expected to gradually increase as the number of citizens returning to their homes increases.
