Ahmed Touizi, a member of the Political Bureau of the Authenticity and Modernity Party, former head of the party in Parliament, and president of the Ait Ourir commune in the Al Haouz province, revealed that the announcement of the next government's formation could take place at the latest next week.
Touizi explained, during his appearance on the program "Ma'a Ramdhani" last Wednesday evening, that the ongoing political consultations to form the governmental majority have entered advanced stages, in the context of preparations for the new governmental term following the legislative elections of September 23, 2026.
Touizi's statements come at a time when consultations are continuing regarding the engineering of the majority and the distribution of ministerial portfolios, amid political anticipation for the official announcement of the new formation, which is expected to define the features of the next governmental phase.
