HIBAPRESS learned from reliable sources that a young man in his thirties was subjected to a serious physical assault at the end of last month, inside the "Park Hyatt" hotel located in the Al-Maaden area in the Sidi Youssef district.
According to the same sources, the victim had been working at the aforementioned hotel as an intern since last April, before a dispute arose between him and an employee of the hotel establishment, which quickly escalated into a physical assault described as serious.
The same sources added that the suspect hit the victim with a sharp object, causing him a serious injury to the face and shoulder, which necessitated his transfer by private ambulance to the emergency room for treatment.
The incident prompted the victim to file a complaint with the police services at the Sixth Security District of Sidi Youssef, supported by a medical certificate that set the disability period at 30 days, despite the pressures exerted on him to dissuade him from filing a complaint, for fear of tarnishing the image of the hotel establishment, which raises questions about the circumstances and course of the case.
