HIBAPRESS – Rabat
Reem Chabat, head of the Haraki bloc in the House of Representatives, directed direct criticism to the head of government, Fatima Zahra Al Mansouri, in the context of the political debate related to conflict of interest, calling on her to look at her surroundings before raising this issue.
Chabat said, in a speech during the discussion of the government's statement, addressing Al Mansouri: "If you want to talk about conflict of interest, look at yourself first," in a statement carrying a clear critical tone.
This statement brings the issue of conflict of interest to the forefront of the debate within the legislative institution, in light of the differing positions of parliamentary blocs regarding the management of public affairs, and the limits of political and ethical responsibility in the performance of public duties.
