In the solidarity housing project, located within the territorial jurisdiction of the commune of Houara Oulad Rahou in the Jerada province, in the direction of the city of Taza, this Monday morning, September 14, an incident occurred resulting in the injury of a 45-year-old construction worker, after he fell from a building under construction, in circumstances whose full details have not yet been clarified.
According to available data, the worker fell from the height of the building while he was working, which caused him severe injuries that required immediate intervention from civil defense elements.
Rescue teams moved to the scene of the accident, where the injured worker was transported by ambulance and rushed to the emergency department of the provincial hospital in Jerada.
The same data indicated that the worker's health condition was described as critical, pending the necessary medical examinations and assessment of the nature of the injuries he sustained from the fall, with the adoption of appropriate treatment measures according to what his health condition will reveal.
The accident caused a state of alert in the vicinity of the construction site, while a number of people present at the scene attended to follow the rescue and transport operation of the injured. The incident also brought back to the forefront the issue of safety and prevention conditions within construction sites, especially concerning the security of workers while working at heights and on incomplete buildings.

The competent authorities have initiated their procedures to ascertain the circumstances and details of this accident, and to determine the reasons behind the worker's fall from the building under construction.
