The Regional Council of Notaries of Beni Mellal-Khenifra, in partnership with the Court of Appeal of Beni Mellal and in coordination with the Regional Councils of Notaries of Marrakech and Settat, is organizing a national study day on Thursday, November 20, 2025, starting at 9:00 AM at the Jnane Ain Asrdoun Hotel in Beni Mellal, under the title: "Contractual and Digital Security and the Protection of Personal Data: Challenges and Prospects".
This meeting comes in a context marked by an increase in cyberattacks and the growing digital risks that threaten legal and economic transactions. Through this initiative, notaries and judges seek to enhance legal and judicial security, with a focus on protecting personal data and consolidating trust in the digital environment, in line with royal directives calling for the construction of a modern and secure digital system.
The study day will be attended by judges, notaries, university professors, and experts in digital law, to discuss topics related to the integration between the judiciary and notarial services, the protection of personal data, the criminal approach towards digital attacks, and the role of the notarial profession in digitizing legal transactions. Among the expected contributions is a presentation by Professor Mohamed Lebdaoui on the relationship between contractual security and judicial security and their role in consolidating legal security in light of the digital transformation.
It is expected that the work of the symposium will conclude with the adoption of practical recommendations to strengthen cooperation between judges, notaries, and public institutions, support legal and judicial security in the digital environment, and protect citizens and investors from electronic risks, in addition to proposing modern mechanisms for data and contract governance.
The study day will conclude with a charitable initiative directed towards children with disabilities and special needs, which includes distributing gifts and educational equipment and contributing to the preparation of appropriate spaces to receive them, in a step that reflects the humanitarian dimension of this event and the solidity of the values of solidarity within the notarial profession.
This event represents an opportunity that combines scientific discussion, professional commitment, and social responsibility, and confirms the role of notaries and judges in enhancing trust, serving citizens, and consolidating legal security in Morocco.
