The General Directorate of Meteorology expects, for Monday, that the weather will remain relatively cold during the morning and night, over the Atlas and Rif mountains, in the southeast, and on the high plateaus.
Rain showers, locally thundery, are expected and may be accompanied by hail in the Rif, Sais, and the region of Walmas, and the Souss region, the High and Middle Atlas mountains, and the areas adjacent to them, the northern and central plains, the central coasts, the north of the southern provinces, and the east of the Mediterranean coasts, with some snowfall over the peaks of the High Atlas mountains. Winds will be relatively strong in the Tangier region, Souss, and the north of the desert provinces, and locally in the central plains. Also expected are relatively dense low clouds accompanied by foggy masses or very light and local rain in the northern and central plains, the Mediterranean coasts, the phosphate plateaus, Walmas, and the plains west of the Atlas. Minimum temperatures will range between minus 06 and 02 degrees in the Atlas Mountains, between 02 and 08 degrees in the Rif, the southeast, and the high plateaus, and between 12 and 16 degrees in the Tangier region, inside the Gharb region, in the Sais, on the Mediterranean front, in Souss, on the southern coasts, in the far southeast, and inside the southern provinces of the country, and locally in the central interior plains, and it will be between 07 and 12 degrees in the rest of the Kingdom. As for the temperatures during the day, they will witness a rise in the Tangier region, the east of the Mediterranean front, in Moulouya and the southeast. The sea will be slightly choppy to rough on the Mediterranean front, in the Strait of Gibraltar, and also on the rest of the coasts.
