HIBAPRESS – Mohamed Al-Harouali
The Governor of the Marrakech-Safi region and the Governor of the Marrakech prefecture chaired a field communication meeting today, Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at the headquarters of the Al-Oudaya district, with the broad participation of elected officials and representatives of the local authorities belonging to the district, in a step that reflects the trend towards activating the policy of proximity and personally overseeing the progress of the open projects in the region.
The meeting discussed ways to accelerate the pace of local development, where the Governor put his hand on the pulse of the constraints facing the rural communities of the district, stressing the need to overcome the bureaucratic obstacles that impede the implementation of the planned development programs. The first territorial official in the region opened files described as "burning", at the forefront of which are the complex real estate problems that constitute a stumbling block to investment and urban growth, in addition to discussing the delay in the implementation and implementation of some planning designs that local actors are waiting for to organize the territorial field of Al-Oudaya and the neighboring communities. The road network situation formed a key focus in the agenda, as those present reviewed the urgent need to pave and strengthen the road routes to break the isolation of the villages and facilitate the movement of transportation, amid pledges to work on monitoring the necessary resources and addressing these imbalances as soon as possible to ensure the achievement of spatial justice in the region.
