Elements of the Anti-Gang Brigade of the Marrakech Security Directorate managed, this Wednesday morning, to arrest a person recently released from prison, at the Al-Fakhara district in the Nakheel district, caught in possession of hashish pieces prepared for promotion.
According to sources of the newspaper, the arrest operation took place after the aforementioned brigade elements received precise information about the suspect's activity, where secret surveillance was imposed near his residence, which enabled his arrest in possession of hashish pieces prepared for promotion. By instructions from the Public Prosecution, a search of his residence was conducted, which resulted in the discovery of a significant amount of hashish, approximately one kilogram, in addition to a sum of money suspected to have been obtained from the drug trade. The detainee was taken to the Marrakech security directorate in order to deepen the investigation, and placed under custody, pending his appearance before the Public Prosecution.
